About Crete Garden Center & Nursery
Crete Garden Center is a family owned business that has been serving the community since 2008.
In 2008 after being in the landscape business for over 25 years Don & his son Josh bought out the 45 year old company Paarlberg’s. They moved the business from South Holland to Crete and changed the name to Crete Garden Center & Nursery..
Don and Josh then expanded the inventory to include plant material a huge selection of annuals, perennials, trees, hardscape materials. We still handle agricultural chemicals, fertilizer & grass seed.

In his 30 year history of building a legacy at Crete, Don’s passion for nurturing flowers, plants & trees and making landscapes beautiful was made evident in his hard work and success. His passion and legacy will continue to live on at Crete Garden Center & Nursery through this son, Josh. We look forward to continuing to build long-lasting relationships with our loyal customers and new customers yet to come. We will strive to continue to make Don proud and expand on his hard work and determination in the years to come.
